三船雅也(v/g)、中原鉄也(d)による東京出身のフォークロックバンド。
真冬の米国フィラデルフィアで制作され、2014年にリリースされたデビューアルバム『ロットバルトバロンの氷河期』は音楽メディアの2014年ベストディスクに数多く選ばれ、高い音楽性と圧倒的なライブパフォーマンスが固たる評価を得る。再び米国に戻り７都市を回るUSツアーも敢行、帰国後に渋谷WWWで開催されたワンマンは歓声をもって迎えられ大成功をおさめる。2015年はVIVA LA ROCK、CIRCLE、RSR、サマソニなど大型ロックフェスにも出演、新人ながら強烈なインパクトを残した。
三船がSF映画から着想を得て、カナダ、モントリオールのスタジオにて現地のミュージシャンとセッションを重ね作り上げられた1年半ぶりのセカンドアルバム『ATOM』を2015年10月21日にリリース。

ROTH BART BARON is a folk rock band based in Tokyo, Japan.
The band started in 2009 first as a New Order cover band when Masaya Mifune (Ag/Vo) and Tetsuya Nakahara (Dr) were in college. ROTH BART BATON’s music is influenced by various artists of different genres, modern rock acts and folk music in particular. Artists such as the neutral milk hotel, Bon Iver, Wilco, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, and Neil Young are essential in building up their own styles. Their debut album, “The Ice Age” (2014) was recorded in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The vinyl was selected among best albums of the year by a number of music media, and their powerful stage performance is also highly praised by fans and critiques. The band performed on large rock festivals including SUMMER SONIC and FUJI ROCK during 2015 and 2016, leaving a strong impact on the crowd. In summer 2015, ROTH BART BARON recorded the Sci-fi inspired second album "ATOM" in Montreal. The album was out in October the same year.
